STRING QUARTET
The international competition “Ciprian Porumbescu” is one of the few competitive events for chamber performers in the country, addressed to string quartets. Initiated in order to support and promote music artists as well as their career development, the competition also aims to capitalize on the universal musical repertoire for string quartets.
The first edition of the competition will take place on the stage of the “Matei Vişniec” Theater in Suceava, being structured in three stages. The winners of the contest will receive cash prizes and promotion.
The winning quartet will be present with a recital during the season of a Romanian philharmonic. Success!
What is important to know before completing the online registration form?
The registration deadline is May 25, 2022 . The first two stages of the competition are eliminatory.
The repertoire you will include in the REGISTRATION FORM is final and cannot be modified later. Each competitor will individually establish the order of the works that will be held at each stage of the competition.
